As spring rolls in, it’s been a busy and creative month across the board—editing, filming, digitising, and capturing the energy of live performance. Whether you’re after video editing, VHS to digital transfers, sound editing, or professional photography in Devon, Cornwall, or Plymouth, here’s a look at what’s been going on lately in the studio and out in the field.
🎧 W: A Return to Oz — Rave Doc in the Final Stretch
Our short documentary W: A Return to Oz, diving deep into the story of Plymouth’s infamous Union Street warehouse rave scene, is nearly there. We’ve been busy shooting pickups and making final amendments to build toward a solid rough cut. The footage is looking electric, and we can’t wait to bring this high-energy doc to audiences soon.
📼 VHS to Digital — Now at Professional Standard
After some serious upgrades, our VHS to digital transfer service is now fully professional-grade. We’re proud to offer high-quality digitisation for home videos, archives, and rare footage. Recent upgrades mean better image quality, cleaner audio, and advanced tape repair options.
If you’re based in Devon, Cornwall, or Plymouth and looking to digitise old VHS, MiniDV, Hi8, or other legacy formats, now’s the perfect time to get in touch. Let’s preserve those memories properly.
🎬 Feature Film Editing — Washed Out
It was a pleasure to help take the Cornish feature film Washed Out to the next stage in post. Working on the edit through to picture lock was a rewarding and creative process. The film has a strong visual tone and it’s great to have helped shape that final version. Looking forward to seeing where the team takes it next.
🎭 Photography for Theatre Royal Plymouth
Right now, I’m in the middle of a photography campaign with Theatre Royal Plymouth, capturing behind-the-scenes moments and stills production photography for their Young Company and experimental performance space, The Lab. It’s been an inspiring project—documenting fresh voices and bold storytelling on stage.
If you’re in need of professional event, theatre, or production photography in the Devon or Plymouth region, I’d love to collaborate.
🎯 Looking Forward
From documentary edits to legacy format digitisation, theatre photography to feature film post-production, March has been a month of focus, creativity, and progress. As always, I’m open for new collaborations—so whether you’re a filmmaker, artist, venue, or business in Devon and Cornwall, drop a line. Let’s make something great together.
